Manuscript Submission Guidelines

Basic Health Publications specializes in publishing books on health, nutrition, alternative medicine, diet, fitness, and environmental issues.. We look for manuscripts that are well written, backed by sound research, and that have a fresh and/or different point of view by authors who are knowledgeable about their topic. Manuscripts should be written for a lay audience, but be supported by enough science that it will be useful to healthcare professionals as well.

When Submitting your manuscript proposal, please include the following items:

• A cover letter explaining the concept of your book, why you wrote it, and its intended audience.
• A detailed table of contents.
• A brief overview of the book.
• A sample chapter or two.
• Biographical information about you and any coauthors or illustrators.
• A self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE)
